Liverpool host Roma: Champions League Semi-final First Leg

A.S. Roma will travel to Anfield on Tuesday to face Liverpool in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final. Roma have been in sizzling form in their past games as they defeated La Liga leaders, Barcelona in the Quarterfinal while Liverpool too have executed huge teams like Manchester City and Porto. Roma are looking for a payback of their last defeat against Liverpool in the European Cup Final of 1984 which ended in the penalties.

The Italian titans will be going up against their former player, Mo Salah who won the PFA's Player of the Year award a few days ago. Liverpool Manager Jurgen Klopp said that Salah would understand early in the game that the Romans aren't his teammates anymore. Klopp has been happy with his team's performance and is very confident that they will reach the final.
